Community Access Fund Field Trip Assistance

Making Inclusive Field Trips More Accessible

At Sensory Play Center, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in an inclusive environment. Through our Community Access Fund, we are proud to offer financial assistance to schools and community organizations that may not otherwise be able to visit.

Approved organizations receive 50% off the cost of their field trip, reducing the price from $25 per student to just $12.50 per student.

There is no charge for teachers, paraeducators, or other support staff, and our standard minimum of 8 students still applies.

Who Can Apply?

Community Access Fund assistance is available to:

• Public and private schools

• Special education programs

• Preschools and childcare centers

• Nonprofit organizations serving children and teens

• Community organizations whose mission aligns with serving children, youth, or individuals with disabilities

Funding is limited and awarded based on available resources and demonstrated need.

• 90 minutes of private access to Sensory Play Center

• Inclusive play experiences designed for children of all abilities

• Access to our open gym, multisensory experience room, imaginative play areas, and adaptive equipment

• A welcoming, supportive environment for students with diverse needs

• No charge for teachers, paraeducators, and support staff
