Our Story
Michele had been dreaming of the Sensory Play Center for years. Her vision grew from her own family’s experiences navigating the unique challenges of raising a child with special needs—challenges that too often bring feelings of isolation and disconnection. Michele was determined to help create a different reality for families like hers.
When Martha shared that she was searching for a new opportunity to make a meaningful impact, Michele knew the perfect project was ready to take shape. Together, they brought the Sensory Play Center to life.
Today, the Sensory Play Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a community hub where all children—regardless of ability—can learn, grow, and thrive. The center fosters inclusion, understanding, and connection, creating a space where differences are celebrated; families feel supported, and every child is given the opportunity to shine.
The Sensory Play Center is currently under construction, our projected opening is in Early 2026.
